Welcome to Capt Joe's
Fishing Report
November 3 ,2024
Well we went from a very nice cold and cooler temperatures right back to the warm temperatures. This has affected the albacore fishing a little bit. The warmer temps and lighter winds are not favored as much by the albies. The winds are supposed to be picking back up this coming weekend, so I am looking forward to the albie bite continuing to get better. We are also catching king mackerel out around the Northwest Places, the Triple Nickel area and on the eastside around the 30 Minute Rock and the AR 285. The speckled trout and red drum bite is continuing to be good in the marshes and a few are starting to show up in the ocean around Shark Island. The wahoo bite and sailfish bite has been very good off in the gulfstream as well.
