Current Fishing Report

Offshore: Fishing is still doing very good offshore right now. The marlin fishing for blues and whites is scattered from the 800 line all the way back down to the Swansboro Hole area. There are good numbers of sailfish showing up as well. The gaffer dolphin are still hanging in and around the 14 Bouy out to the Big Rock area and all points in between. There are a few wahoo being caught around the 90 Ft. Drop and down around the Rise as well.

Inshore: The dolphin fishing is still very good closer to the beaches right now. There have been good numnbers of dolphin in and around the Northwest Places and Big Ten areas. They have even been in as close as the Sea Bouy. The Spanish mackerel fishing is real good right around the Beaufort Inlet and down the west beaches early in the mornings. The cape Lookout shoals is another good place to catch the Spanish and blues. flunder are showing up around the inlets and the artificial reefs as well.

Inside: The red drum bite has started to pick back up some this week. We sre starting to see more finger mullet back in the marshes and the drum are hanging around the finger mullet schools. The speckled trout fishing is also strting to improve some now.

Piers: The piers are catching Spanish mackerel, bluefish and flounder.

Charters: We are now booking for dolphin, amberjacks, sharks, red drum and whatever else we can catch!
